However he has always been overshadowed by others in his draft class (notably Michael Porter Jr., SGA, Luka and Trae). And his 2 teammates in CP3 and Booker are widely lauded as the driving forces of the Suns success this season.
Yes he is. A disappointment is a bust. No one would want to draft a player like that number 1 overall. This sub has way too hard a time saying anyone is a bust, unless you are like Kwame Brown level. I’ve seen people talking that Markelle Fultz isn’t a bust.

ADMIN MOD. Is Deandre Ayton the best player remaining that nobody talks about? He’s averaging 21/11 on 69% FG and 80% Ft. If you catch him at the right time he looks like a poor man’s Admiral. I think another under the radar guy is OG Anunoby that has a huge impact.
2020年1月7日 · That's kinda what OP is hinting at. His definition which is wrong to an extent is that a bust is a guy that doesn't live up to his expectations (draft position). Ayton was drafted 1st overall, so by OP's definition Ayton is a bust because Trae, Luka, SGA only to name a few are all better than Ayton. Again, its OP's definition, not mine.

2018年12月23日 · Ayton has a more traditional big man game in a way which is not very flashy at all. Even as a suns fan I can understand why Luka is getting more attention That said I’m stoked to have ayton, he’s been getting better and better as the season progresses, just needs to improve on D, he’s already pretty damn good on the offensive end
