2023年9月15日 · They do have some Ernie Clements decals but they are only from the 1940's and 60's. I did consider them but it felt wrong putting them on a 1980's bike. They did supply the correct Reynolds decals. I'm leaning towards not having decals on the downtube and
2017年10月31日 · 31 Oct 2017. #1. I picked this up this evening. I know very little about it, so needs a bit of research. Any pearls of knowledge from you lot would be most welcome. It was described as Ernie Clements Falcon, but there’s no reference to falcon anywhere on the bike. Date is 1982 according to brakes, and frame number on B.B. is M2L59394.

Sainsbury's are delivering the weekly goodies between 9 and 10, and then it looks like a domestics type of day. I'll be watching the cycling this afternoon.

2020年8月11日 · Coventry Eagle were an old company which made motorcycles and cycles including the Flying 8 which was a big V twin similar to the Brough Superior. Motorcycle production ceased post war and they continued making cycles only . In the 1950's the company bought a cycle manufacturer which had Ernie Clements as manager.

2018年2月11日 · The Falcon crest transfer is placed within black banding on the seat tube . It has Designed by Ernie Clements and Club Special on the cross bar. The Reynolds 531 transfer also seems to be an old style. The closest picture of a bike which resembles it I discovered last night was of a 1947 / 49 Ernie Clements.
2016年11月1日 · Afternoon. Light grey here but it isn't raining. I have been busy this morning filling in free samples and posting them off. I am now on iron tablets and frollic acid. I should be skipping around like a new lamb soon.
