ARKK was in a a lot of unprofitable companies, and when rates started going up I was like “nah this ain’t good”. This used to be the golden child ETF on this sub back in 2021 before the bear market hit in 2022. People on here would call her “mama Cathie” and would recommend ARKK over other ETFs like VOO and VTI.
2023年1月9日 · about a year ago was the time to get out of ARKK. for future reference, anything that goes straight up on the chart is an indication to get out, not to buy more. Growth stocks do poorly during a recession. Ark is pretty much all growth stocks.
2022年1月19日 · ARKK is up about 300% since inception while QQQ was up about 265% since ARK was founded. This is including is massive rotation out of growth that has been happening for the last year. I measure since Nov 2014 to today (i couldn't measure easier than that on tradingview). Maybe that's why there is a discrepancy.
