The Universal Basketball Association ( UBA) is a semi-professional men's basketball minor league in the United States that began play in 2009. The league typically play a Spring season schedule. Teams are split into geographical divisions, from Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio and Texas.

All the teams in 2017–18 season returned for this season. However, the following changes happened: 1. Chong Son Kung Fu relocated and rebranded to Macau Black Bears. 2. Zhuhai Wolf Warriors was the 10th team in the ABL, added after Kung Furelocated to Macau.

The 2019 Summit League men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Summit League for the 2018-19 season. All tournament games were played at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, from March 9–12, 2019.
