1. HOW LONG DO THEY LAST? Activity and patient weight influence longevity. Make sure to fit the appropriate density to suit your patient’s lifestyle or physique (heat "Fitting" section). As a rule, they typically last 12 to 18 months. Generally, an orthotic review is a good idea if the patient’s symptoms return and at least every 6 months.
The VASYLI Custom Extended Slimfit is specifically designed to fit ladies’ fashion shoes, such as high heels. The flexible base allows easy contouring of the shank of the shoe. The rearfoot angle is reduced to 2 degrees due to the “high-heel factor” (tibio talar axis), which inverts the foot as the heel is raised.
