The Baeksang Arts Awards ( Korean : 백상예술대상; RR : Baeksang Yesul Daesang ), also known as the Paeksang Arts Awards, are awards for excellence in film, television and theatre in South Korea. [1] The awards were introduced in 1965 by Chang Key-young, the founder of the newspaper Hankook Ilbo, whose art name was "Baeksang".
