I use ProtonVPN because of it's strong record with privacy, being based on Switzerland, and the fact it comes with the whole Proton package if you get Unlimited or Family. I would never use a VPN provider based in a 14 eyes country.
Performance-wise, ProtonVPN for me has generally been a lot more consistent in performance (bandwidth and latency wise) than Mullvad, where servers sporadically get high ping or die. This might be due to me using SG servers though, which Mullvad doesn't have a lot of.
2023年9月24日 · If the first, try logging out of the app, then log back in. If logging out doesn't work, or it fails to connect, log into your Proton account, click your account name, then Settings, Security and privacy, and click Revoke all other sessions. This will log you out of every Proton app. Log back into the VPN app, and try again.
