    Earl Williams (born July 15,1969) is an American former college basketball player who played for the Salem State University men's volleyball team of Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference.

    With sports as his "meal ticket" through high school and college, Williams played basketball at Salem State University where he played on the team from 1988 to 1990.

    His oldest son Michael, is from a previous relationship with former Salem State women's basketball player, Mandy Carter, his college sweetheart. The two have maintained a civil relationship since they broke up.
