理查德·马克斯（Richard Marx），1963年9月16日出生于芝加哥，美国男歌手。 1987年，发行的个人首张专辑《持续回归》在全球销量300万多张；随后，发行第二张专辑《Repeat Offender》在全球销量1000万张 [1] ，并被《滚石》杂志授予其“最佳男声新星奖”。 1988年，《演艺》杂志授予其“最佳艺术新人奖”，并获得 格莱美奖 “最佳摇滚男声演唱”奖。 1989年5月，翻录制作了《Repeat Offender》专辑的新版本，该专辑发行量超过600万张；同年，获得 格莱美奖 “最佳摇滚男声演唱”奖。 1991年9月9日，因为在一天之中，同时在全美5大城市间作马拉松式的巡回演出，因此这天被摇滚乐坛称为“理查德日”。
