2024年1月17日 · 「BSMI」是經濟部標準檢驗局（Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection）的縮寫. 若看到產品上有BSMI認證及代表通過了EMI（電磁輻射干擾防護）、EMS（靜電防護）及Safety（安全規範）的檢測，安全無虞. BSMI檢驗項目非常之廣，從嬰兒用品、文具用品、旅行用品皆有. 以家電、3C為例，常見應檢商品有: 若含有鋰電池之商品、插家用插座110V以上之商品. 常見商品如: 氣炸鍋、電鍋、電風扇、行動電源、充電頭. BSMI也在2023年及2024年將小型隨身風扇、藍牙耳機產品也列為應檢產品中. 認證字號通常為R開頭. 以上為台灣買3C產品必須了解的兩大基本認證，凡是只要有符合以上條件，在台灣販售皆須通過檢驗.
