國立清華大學 （英語： National Tsing Hua University ；縮寫：NTHU，簡稱 清華 、 清大 ）是一所校本部位於 台灣 新竹市 東區 的國立 研究型 綜合大學 ，其起源於 清朝 ，於1911年以 庚子賠款 建校於 北京 清華園 ，而後因戰亂多次遷移， 國共內戰 後於1956年在校長 梅貽琦 的主持下 在台復校 。 國立清華大學的校本部與 國立陽明交通大學 光復校區 、 工業技術研究院 光復院區及 新竹科學工業園區 相鄰，校園內建有 圖書館 及 核子反應爐 等大型設施，與 國立新竹教育大學 於2016年合併後，現共設有12個學院及 附設實驗小學 、 附設診所 ，於2022年聘有約900名專任教師，並約有18,100名學生在學。

National Tsing Hua University ( NTHU) is a public research university in Hsinchu, Taiwan. It was first founded in Beijing. After the Chinese Civil War, president Mei Yiqi, and other major academics fled to Taiwan with the retreating Nationalist government.
First established as the Tsing Hua Academy at Tsing Hua Garden in Beijing in 1911, the Academy was renamed as National Tsing Hua University in 1928 as its curricula expanded to that of a full-fledged university. In 1956, National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) was reinstalled on its current campus in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
