Erik Jon Spoelstra (/ ˈspoʊlstrə / SPOHL-strə; born November 1, 1970), [1][2] nicknamed " Coach Spo ", is an American professional basketball coach who is the head coach for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA), and an assistant coach for the United States men's national basketball team.
