Definition. Zidisha is a nonprofit peer-to-peer microfinance internet platform that allows people to lend small amounts of money directly to entrepreneurs in developing countries. By comparison, Kiva doesn't really apply real p2p lending, but as of late 2011 began to pilot direct p2p microloans based on Zidisha's model.
