概要. 集中治療科は急性の臓器不全を伴う重症患者に対する強力かつ集中的な治療とケアを安全に行うために平成29年度に新設されました。 日本で数少ない独立した集中治療科です。 集中治療科は集中治療部ICU（18床）とHCU（15床）を統括管理しています。 当科の特色は、通常の術後患者や重症内科疾患の管理に加えて、重症心不全（左室補助人工心臓植込、心臓移植）、成人先天性心疾患、心・肝・腎・膵移植の術後管理、免疫抑制状態の患者における重症感染症・重症呼吸不全などの多種多様な症例を経験できることです。
