第 16 代 Toyota Crown 於 2022 年 7 月中旬正式發表，並有著 Crossover 跨界轎車、Sport 中型 SUV、Sedan 旗艦傳統轎車、Estate 大型 SUV 等 4 種車身型式，而首波則是在日本、美國、中國等地都推出 Crossover 跨界轎車版本。 臺灣市場也在 2023 年 3 月底正式引進，不過臺灣市場並沒有像日本以 Crossover、或中國的 SportCross 車名後綴溝通，而是以「Toyota Crown」作為國內正式車名。 2024 年 5 月，國內 Crown 進行年式更新，新年式 Crown 車系入門的 2.5 升油電貴族版維持 157 萬不變、高階 2.4 升渦輪油電皇家版調漲 3 萬來到 210 萬。
