King Zhuangxiang of Qin (281– 6 July 247 BCE [2] ), personal names Yiren and Zichu, was the penultimate ruler of the Qin state during the third century BCE in the Warring States period of ancient China. [3] Life. Yiren was born to Lord Anguo, the second son and heir apparent of King Zhaoxiang, and Lord Anguo's concubine Lady Xia.
Upon his ascension, Zheng became known as the King of Qin or King Zheng of Qin. This title made him the nominal equal of the rulers of Shang and of Zhou, the last of whose kings had been deposed by King Zhaoxiang of Qin in 256 BC.
