2023年7月25日 · Sildenafil may be used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED or impotence) in men (Viagra brand) or pulmonary arterial hypertension in both men and women (Revatio brand), depending on the brand. Sildenafil blocks the action of an enzyme known as cGMP-specific phosphodiesterase type-5 (PDE-5).
Initial dose: 50 mg orally once a day, as needed, about 1 hour prior to sexual activity. Maintenance dose: May increase to 100 mg or decrease to 25 mg once a day, based on efficacy and tolerability. Maximum dose: 100 mg orally once a day. Comments:
