托福iBT和ITP差異及特色. 托福iBT全名為TOEFL Internet-Based Test，以電腦線上化的方式考試。 在測驗方面，托福iBT考的是英文的聽、說、讀、寫四科，測試考生是否有在英語系國家就學的能力，成績也多用來申請英語系國家的大學或研究所。 費用的部分較貴，但幾乎所有學校都接受。 而托福ITP全名為TOEFL Institutional Testing Program，是以傳統紙筆式考試，提供學校或機構測驗其英語能力檢定用。 托福itp準備科目為聽力測驗、文法結構、閱讀測驗三項。 費用較便宜，因題數較少所以托福itp準備起來相對簡單一點，但是部分門檻不承認。 托福iBT和ITP差異最大的是學術用途的範圍，像是眾學子們最關心的申請北美洲大學及碩博士班，必定用iBT來申請。
