Vittorio Cecchi Gori ( Italian pronunciation: [vitˈtɔːrjo ˈtʃekki ˈɡɔːri]; born 27 April 1942) is an Italian film producer and politician. He pleaded guilty to bankruptcy and was sentenced in February 2020 to eight years and five months of imprisonment. [1] Born in Florence, Italy, he is the son of Mario Cecchi Gori.
The club's owner, Vittorio Cecchi Gori, was able to raise some more money, but this soon proved to be insufficient to sustain the club. Fiorentina were relegated at the end of the 2001–02 season and went into judicially-controlled administration in June 2002.
