2022年10月9日 · Marc Gasol, Deandre Jordan, Steven Adams, Clint capella, Andre Drummond, Kat (although a PF/C), Jokic, gobert, New Orleans AD and Embiid. These guys were all in the league when Ayton was drafted and still are except for Marc Gasol.
2023年10月2日 · Ayton has basically been the exact same player since his rookie year. After 5 years he still can't really create for himself or others, can't really dribble, and he hasn't developed a 3 point shot. He has stretches where he doesn't produce, doesn't hustle for anything, and is visibly disengaged.
Deandre ayton washes his hands in popcorn butter every break in action. I love having him and hate watching him play all at the same time. Trust me, if you've only barely started watching him I can't tell based on your analysis. He's exactly what you see
Deandre Ayton is a clown, a headcase and someone who doesn't care about winning. He got his deal and now he's on cruise control. Look at his free throw rate from last year. He would rather stay up all night and play NBA 2k (I'm not kidding) than actually
It does feel like Ayton is leaving a lot on the table in terms of potential, but some draft picks can be a liabilities or negative assets, so can't be too mad. And there can be frustrating times where a medicore player that was picked high is blocking minutes from a player who seems better but lacks pedigree, but never seemed to be the case for any of Aytons tenure.
2022年6月12日 · Deandre Ayton received zero DPOY votes this year. Not only that, he has not received a single DPOY vote during any of the four years he has played in the league. For a center looking to sign a max contract - based in part on his performance at the defensive end of the court - it's probably not a good sign that Ayton has never received a vote.
I'm not saying DeAndre Ayton didn't have potential to be a great big but even realizing that potential would not have him looking like anything resembling David Robinson. David Robinson never needed a Chris Paul type to get busy on offense and there's a reason for that.
2023年9月27日 · they'll be better without an over-priced soft big man that can't stay focused basically that. Ayton had his worst defensive season last year and his rebounding rate wasn't awesome, so if that kinda effort is indicative of what they could expect going forward when they don't have CP3 around to spoon-feed him shots, then might as well get out of that busi
2021年6月15日 · From an outsiders perspective, it doesn’t look the the Suns are asking Ayton handle a ton of responsibilities but whatever you need him to do he has been incredibly solid. It is a testament to the Sun’s style of play that they are aren’t relying as much on the #1 pick when he is out on the floor.
Eventually Deandre Ayton signed a maximum offer sheet with the Pacers that was worth four years, $133 million. The Phoenix Suns match it almost immediately. Myles Turner is averaging 18.6/8.4/1.4, 2.8 bpg and 0.8 spg on 55/45/84 splits and 29 minutes per game.
