Son Lux is an American experimental band. Originally the solo project and moniker of founding member Ryan Lott, the band's first three albums, At War with Walls & Mazes, We Are Rising and Lanterns, shaped the band's unique sound through post-rock and electronica influences.

Ian Chang (born 10 October 1988) is a musician, drummer, and producer. He is the drummer of the American experimental rock band Son Lux and Landlady. [1] As a solo artist, he has recorded three solo EPs: Spiritual Leader (2017), Romeo Remixes (2018), and Inhaler Remixes (2018), and released his debut full-length album 属 Belonging in 2020.
Lanterns is the third studio album by Ryan Lott under the Son Lux moniker. It was released on October 29, 2013 by Joyful Noise Recordings . [1] It peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, [13] as well as number 6 on the Vinyl Albums chart.
