2024年4月19日 · > 新着情報. お知らせ. 2024年04月19日 第三者委員会の設置について. 本学は、令和6年4月10日開催の理事会にて、出向者に対する二重給与その他不正支出の有無等の事案の調査等を目的として、大学法人ガバナンス及び不正調査について高い知見を有する本学から独立した立場の複数の第三者による第三者委員会を設置することを決議し、このたび、第三者委員会の構成が決まりましたので公表いたします（詳細につきましては、 PDF をご参照ください）。 今後、上記第三者委員会において、客観的かつ徹底的な調査が行われることとなりますが、本学として第三者委員会の調査に全面的かつ真摯に協力いたします。

Since its founding in 1900 (the 33rd year of the Meiji era) by Yayoi Yoshioka, Tokyo Women’s Medical University has established a unique history and tradition of over 100 years as a medical university only for women students at the undergraduate level.
Tokyo Women’s Medical University has developed from Tokyo Women’s Medical School and has produced many female physicians who have contributed to our society. Tokyo Women’s Medical University School of Medicine was established in 1950. Tokyo Women’s Medical College was established in 1952.Then, in 1998, the School of Nursing was added.
The activities of forensic medicine include education, research, and practice, and the goal is to contribute to people and society through these activities. As our practical activities, we are in charge of some forensic autopsies in the 23 wards of Tokyo, contributing to the early resolution of accidents and other problems and social safety.
