ご挨拶. 院長からのご挨拶. 新病棟増築プラン (146床増床）は、八千代市民の方のご支援・ご協力のもとに平成27年5月より着工し、平成28年7月には竣工し、 平成28年8月1日より501床の高度急性期病院として新たに診療業務を始めます。 これまでのご協力とご支援を厚く感謝いたします。 今後、新病院は従来の特色である小児・周産期センターをさらに充実させていき、八千代市だけでなく習志野市、船橋市などを含んだ千葉県の中核・拠点病院として機能していく予定です。 また、高齢者増加に伴う地域疾病構造の変化に対応すべく心・血管系疾患 (heart center)、脳血管疾患 (stroke care unit)、悪性新生物（がん地域拠点病院）、糖尿病などの成人医療も重点的に整備していきます。
