2021年1月14日 · Dwellings of Eldervale is neither of those. But I still have an absolute BLAST playing solo. In the beginning of the game, there are so many different things you can do and ways that you can go and none of it seems like the wrong answer. In terms of puzzle-like satisfaction (the subject of this section), most of that comes from the card play.

The Good: The base game is fantastic, but the first standalone expansion added rumor cards and a new play mode: free-play (you'll miss it if you don't look hard enough). This lets you traverse the world however you want, completing mini side quests instead of the story. Very sandbox/open world.
