If you know someone with a military background and they play a western style Mah-Jongg, they probably play W-P. W-P is played with a standard 144 tile western set.
Boba Mahjong is a 2-player mahjong variant card game using set collection and rummy mechanics. In the game, players create sets of three cards during their turn. After creating a set, the player keeps one of the cards as an ingredient card. When a player has five sets of ingredient cards, the round ends.
Classification. Japanese Mahjong, especially called Riichi Mahjong (リーチ・マージャン）, is a very specific remake from Japan of the traditional Chinese Mahjong. It is as close and yet far from Chinese Mahjong as Shôgi (Japanese Chess) can be the same and yet different from original Chess.

Mhing is a classic card game based on Mah Jong, and at first glance it looks like rummy: whomever can put all their cards in sequences or sets makes "Mhing". However, players can really only win if they make as many valuable card combinations as possible.
