There are two ways to create an Instagram account. You can create a new account from the Instagram app or Instagram.com. If you already have an existing Facebook or Instagram account, you can use your existing account to create a new Instagram account. Both accounts will be added to the same Accounts Center and have access to connected experiences.
If you forget or don’t know your Instagram username, you can still log in using your phone number or email address associated with your account. Once you log in, you’ll be able to find your username at the top of your profile. You can also learn what to do if you’ve lost access to the email or phone number you used to sign up for Instagram.
Go to your profile and tap in the upper right corner. Select Business tools and controls. Select Switch account type. Select Switch to creator account. Select Switch. Once you’ve set up your creator account, you'll have access to the professional dashboard to see your insights and view your eligibility to use monetization tools on Instagram.
Click your profile picture on the left to go to your profile. Go to the post, then click in the top right. Click Edit. Click on someone in the post. Enter their name or username, then click on their name from the menu. Click Donein the top right. Keep in mind that if your account is private, you can only tag your followers.
