MSCI ESG 指數，是 Morgan Stanley Capital International（摩根史坦利資本國際，簡稱大摩）所發行的 ESG 指數。 根據 MSCI 的官方文件，MSCI 從西元 1972 年就開始做 ESG 研究了，實際開始以 ESG 指標作為股票的評級則是在西元 1999 年。 MSCI 的 ESG 指數總共有 1500 支以上，有許多針對機構法人需求，並納入 ESG 分析的特殊指數，因為需求比較個人，我們這回就不研究了。
