Also remember that the warranties for iPhones and iPads are usually only valid in the country where they were purchased. And then you would need to pay import tax coming back to yours. FWIW, Oregon has no sales tax.

A little bit late, but for anyone who might be interested, the state of California has very limited situations for when sales tax might be waived, and there's no refund for taxes paid at an airport, such as one might be able to get in some states or provinces.

You can check youtube, many renowned youtubers have said in their videos that if Apple product purchased from Dubai/ US can be serviced in India if it is under warranty. One of the youtuber who mentioned this is Nabeel Nawab.

2023年10月1日 · I can't speak to the experience of online ordering for pickup. I can tell you that Apple does internet sales legally. Many other companies do not. But this means that Apple operates separate online stores in all major markets so that it can properly comply with global taxes, consumer laws, environmental regulations, etc.

I normally get one "APPLE.COM/BILL" charge for Apple Music, and another for iCloud+. Apple sends me e-mails ("Your receipt from Apple") telling me why they're charging my card and for how much.

2019年10月10日 · And yes, the warranty is only valid in the country you buy the iPhone in. In your case, the US. If you have any issues with the phone, you'll need to fly into the US in order to have your phone serviced. Apple might still service your phone in the UAE, but you'll need to pay for an out-of-warranty replacement.
