傳奇關卡 (レジェンドストーリー Rejendo Sutōrī, Legend Stories) is a game mode that is unlocked after clearing 世界篇 - The Battle Cats Rising (Chapter 1) and was released in the Version 2.0 Update of 貓咪大戰爭. It contains the 挑戰賽 and many new sub-chapters (each with 1, 5, 6 or 8 stages), new types of enemies and new game mechanics, but also 常駐活動關卡 where the player can win some prizes, such as 月間活動 (collectible units), 漩渦關卡 (對鋼鐵敵人有效的貓咪), 狂亂貓關卡 (更強的基本貓) 和 開眼關卡 (部分EX、Rare和激稀有貓咪的第三進化), among many others.
These challenges wait for the bravest players to come. It is recommended to get 瓦爾基麗貓 before starting these stages. Later, Bahamut Cat will be essential to progress further into the 傳奇關卡 and special stages.
After 世界篇, the Cats constructed a time machine to travel at least 20 years into the past, rescue Legend Cats and collect Cat Food. After completing their goals and returning home, however, the Cats accidentally time-travel to an uncanny world inhabited by 古代種, where it is revealed that some of the Legend Cats unlocked in 傳奇關卡 were merely descendants of the real heroes of Legend (presumably Urs and later 真傳奇關卡 drops). The Cats also discover "a dark guild researching forbidden knowledge", and "the REAL ultimate superweapon" is hinted at, but it is currently unclear what these refer to.
Because The Cat God is around 20 years old and therefore hasn't been born yet, he is not usable on any 傳奇關卡. However, God and Cat God the Great can still be used.
Clearing a sub-chapter for the first time rewards the player with 30 貓罐頭 and 1 首領旗. The player also unlocks the next sub-chapter and the next Crown difficulty of the current sub-chapter if already available (up to 4-Crown). Keep in mind that completing the sub-chapters with additional Crowns will reset the "one time only" item rewards, awarding the player 30 Cat Food and giving 1 Leadership again upon completion.
2-Crown difficulty multiplies the strength magnification of all enemies by 1.5. In 絲綢之路, they are buffed by 1.4. In 通向黑暗的地下道, they are buffed by 1.3. Beyond that, enemies are buffed by 1.2 until 古代研究所. In 真傳奇關卡, 2-Crown difficulty once again buffs enemies by 1.5.
3-Crown difficulty doubles enemy strength magnification. In 越獄隧道 and 卡彭監獄, they are buffed by 1.7. In 絲綢之路, they are buffed by 1.6. In 通向黑暗的地下道, they are buffed by 1.5. In 魔王的豪宅 until 孤島大瘟疫, they are buffed by 1.4. Beyond that, enemies are buffed by 1.3.
You can only deploy EX and 稀有 in 4-Crown difficulty, although you can still have the Cat Units you want in your line-up, allowing you to use all the 貓咪聯組 you want. This difficulty multiplies enemy strength by 3. The magnification is 2 in 帕德嫩神殿 to 惡魔島. In 越獄隧道, the magnification is 1.5. The magnification continues to be reduced by 0.1 every two sub-chapters until it ends at 1, which means no change in enemy stats, at 連接心身的東西.
In 傳奇關卡, the number of stars will also improve the rewards in materials as the difficulty increases.
Clearing a time-limited event for the first time also rewards the player with 30 Cat Food and 1 Leadership, and unlocks the next Crown difficulty if there is one.
Seperate from Crowns, each 傳奇關卡 map and level is assigned a difficulty level ranging from 1★ to 12★. A map's ★ difficulty is always equal to that of its stages; map whose stages vary in difficulty will have multiple ★ difficulties itself (e.g., Vacation Awakes! is rated as both 7★ and 8★).
Currently, the main 傳奇關卡 only go up to 11★, which starts at 阻擋者們的城堡; 12★ difficulty is exclusive to 風雲貓咪塔 and some of the 強襲關卡.
大部分的傳奇關卡和真傳奇關卡有2個掉落獎勵: an item with 1% drop with no limit and a certain amount of XP that has a 10% chance to drop that the player can only acquire once. Clearing any Crown difficulty for the first time also rewards the player with 30 Cat Food and 1 Leadership. Starting from 越獄隧道, after every 5~8 sub-chapters, some 魔王角色 can be recruited to your side as Legend Cats. After unlocking any cat from 傳奇關卡, 地圖 will become obtainable from any 傳奇關卡 other than the 挑戰賽, 可接關關卡 and 發掘關卡. Each 傳奇關卡 cat except 異弟:N raises the player's Enigma Level by 1 up to a maximum of 5.
Clearing all 傳奇關卡 sub-chapters on 1-Crown will unlock 真傳奇關卡, the 第三進化 of the legends except Mecha-Bun (which is unlocked after beating An Ancient Curse) and the last floors of the 風雲貓咪塔. Clearing all 傳奇關卡 sub-chapters on 2-Crown and 3-Crown will each give the player a Platinum Ticket. Clearing all 傳奇關卡 sub-chapters on 4-Crown difficulty will unlock a ex 關卡 in 4-Crown 古代研究所 from which the player can unlock 異弟:N.

This part lists every sub-chapter and stage for the first part called 傳奇關卡 (レジェンドステージ). After clearing all chapters in this part for the first time, the next part 真傳奇關卡 will be unlocked.
真傳奇關卡
真傳奇關卡 (真レジェンドステージ) is a continuation of the 傳奇關卡, unlocked by completing said campaign on 1-Crown difficulty. It can be accessed from the 傳奇關卡 menu at any time and was added in version 7.0 of The Battle Cats. 真傳奇關卡 introduces two new types of enemies: 古代種 and 惡魔. 古代種 appear as early as 第一關, boasting exceptional stats and the Curse ability, which disables cat abilities that target specific traits, but only those. 惡魔 are introduced in 分章38, UL 38, and can use Shields which regenerate each time they receive a damage-based knockback. Like the final chapter of the previous campaign, the first sub-chapter, A New Legend, only contains one level. Completing this level unlocks Mecha-Bun's 第三進化 and the ability to upgrade cats 10 more levels using Catseyes, including Legend Cats. 所有傳奇關卡貓咪的第三進化有古代詛咒無效以及有對古代種有效的能力，因此十分推薦玩家進化從傳奇關卡中獲得的EX貓咪。
