2016年4月16日 · Just doing my tax & noticed several charges for $13.99 to "Amazon Aust Services Melbourne VIC". Thanks to this forum I called Amazon 1800 064 122 & asked about the charges. As above they attributed it to an unused Kindle Subscription. They have sent me an email assuring the reimbursement of these costs.

Amazon Prime also includes items from the USA – as your eligible for free postage if its over $49 – it will show you items from other sellers and a lot of times the item, price etc shows but it doesn't have the sentence "This seller will send to your address in XXXX".

If sellers think they can just stick their same product and prices on Amazon, and suddenly there is going to be an avalanche of customers knocking down their door to part with their money, they may as well not bother, because in fact, no one will be knocking on their door.

Amazon are not the seller. They can't issue invoices (well, receipts) on behalf of someone else – not beyond a record of the transaction having taken place, anyway. And they especially can't issue tax invoices on behalf of someone else, because Amazon did not collect any GST. It's not a loophole, it's just reality.

Ordered a box set of the TV show The Mentalist from Amazon Australia but sent via the USA. "Delayed at Customs" hopefully it still arrives but Amazon customer service say it can't be delivered. I can't see why that can't be delivered. It's not a prohibited item

Hey Breddo, I've been doing deliveries for Amazon Flex (AF) for about 8 months off and on. Around the time of the Amazon Prime special sale in July I received an e-mail from AF offering me a $500 special one off payment if I completed minimum of 5 blocks between 11-18 July.
