2020年5月27日 · Insurance does not cover betahistine. Here in Pittsburgh 300 16mg capsules will cost you around $130.00 and higher. Also, do NOT take any ORAL antihistamines with betahistine. You can take an antihistamine SPRAY into the nose only. That will not neutralize the betahistine because it does not go through your blood system.
2016年2月8日 · Posted 8 years ago. Betahistine usually takes couple days get into system but once they are you should notice improvement. I too take the 16mg tablets but only at onset of attack then they usually work within couple hours. My GP also gave me prochlorperazine maleate which have to be dissolved on gum.
2017年7月4日 · Betahistine is regarded as a remarkably safe drug with minimal side effects. It may cause a bit of gastric irritation, especially at higher doses, but that can be managed with Gaviscon and / or the occassional proton pump inhibitor eg omeprazole. Finally 70% of sufferers get better some after months, but for some it takes years.
lorelei19467. Hi everyone! This is my first fall on BETAHISTINE and the mold spores and ragweed is high in New Jersey. Although all of my allergy testing came back negative I always suffer during the change of seasons. SINCE being on Betahistine I can no longer take any antihistamines.
2018年3月16日 · All that said, I've been taking betahistine on and off since 2013 as needed and I've had no problems with it except drowsiness. I have been on 3x24mg betahistine since 2007. I tried to wean myself off of it and it caused my Meniere's to become bilateral. So my good ear became my bad ear 😦.
