G Suite提供之電子郵件服務與本處既有之電子郵件系統為各自獨立之兩套系統，故仍可同時使用本服務及本處提供之電子郵件服務。但本校提供的相關訊息仍以目前既有的@mail.nsysu.edu.tw、@student.nsysu.edu.tw、@faculty.nsysu.edu.tw信箱為正式聯繫管道。
1. 學生由教務處認定，每人限申請一個電子郵件信箱，於註冊報到後由資訊應用組建立，原則上於離校後仍提供長期使用，以服務校友。 2. 教師由人事室認定，每人限申請一個電子郵件信箱，申請人填寫「國立中山大學電子郵件帳號申請表」，退休後仍提供長期使用，於離職後，本中心得註銷其信箱。

在學生可以使用SSO或帳號密碼登入，校友則僅能使用帳號密碼登入 如欲使用其他工具登入帳號，則需先設定信箱密碼登入
