New to this community. I just spoke with the $$$ guy at my dealer, in anticipation of the arrival of my new Rav4 Prime sometime next month. He is trying to sell me an extended warranty. Two options: 5 yrs for $2,539, or 7 yrs for $3,349. Canadian dollars, in Quebec.

The modern theft/alarm systems, and steering wheel locks make the RAV4 extremely difficult to steal -- you cannot "hot wire" a RAV4 like in the old days. The only thing that crooks seem to be able to do is the CAN bus attack (read about that on other forum threads).

If you regularly carry passengers then think about the 4 door, if the carrying of passengers is a rarity, then buy the 2-door. The 2 door is slightly better off road (better break over angle due to the shorter wheel base).
2018年4月16日 · This is One of the reasons I bought a Rav4. 4 bags will fit across, and 4 adult men can ride in the SUV. The first bag, against the back seats, between the wheel wells has to have the Driver/fairway clubs oriented so they are on the top side, then the other 3 sets all easily fit.
