As suggested above use nLite in order to prepare an updated XP iso or dvd. Apart from slipstreaming sp3 you can also integrate some hotfixes or even microsoft programs, such as IE or WMP. However a lot of hotfixes won't be integrated, so you will have to run a batch to finish the job.

2017年7月17日 · Add the .VHD extension to that file name (e.g. VirtualXP.VHD) by using F2 key. Open Hyper-V, make a new VM, add that previous VHD file (see procedure). Then run that VM. VirtualBox supports VHD so simply create a Windows XP 32-bit machine and plug-in the VHD in it at the step where you select the disk.

Closed 4 years ago. Upon running 'SFC /SCANNOW' I get a message to insert the Windows XP Pro SP3 disk. I had previously never heard of a Windows XP pro Service Pack 3 disk, I though there was only one type of SP3 CD.
