2006年8月22日 · In Taiwan everyone uses Yahoo Bid and Ebay is a distant second in terms of listings. You can also search on Yahoo Bid with English. For example, if you want to buy a Vespa, but you can’t type, wei shi pai in Chinese, just try Vespa or ET8 the model number. You can find loads of things for sale this way on the Chinese site.

I find out I can sell it in the UK via eBay for $150,000. The buyer wants my assurance that he isn’t going to be stiffed for 20% VAT when it arrives at his house in Blighty.
2024年3月12日 · Hello, I’m trying to buy something on eBay but at the moment I press: buy now, or place a bid, I’m redirect to a page that ask me my location. When selecting Taiwan, I’m redirect to a log in page,but that doesn’t work… I tried with my wife’s account and have the same… Is ebay working for anyone? I cannot find how to report properly this problem to ebay…
2019年11月20日 · There’s taobao too. Great Thank you! Also Ruten and Yahoo Auctions. Momo! Alibaba and AliExpress. Carousell. There are no alternatives. Amazon is on another level. I know Shopee is an option but that’s in chinese and I can’t find how to translate it.

2004年8月1日 · Yahoo Auctions is much more popular than eBay in Taiwan. But it’s all in Chinese of course, and if you registerm it changes ALL your Yahoo to Chinese (not just the auctions) and it’s very difficult to change back, so if you want to register, open a new Yahoo account first.

2017年4月12日 · Hey folks, I found out over the last weeks that laptops are dirt cheap on ebay USA compared to my homecountry in Europe, and shipping stuff from Ebay USA to Europe usually involves a 17% import tax which is just terrible. Taiwan on the other hand charges only 5% as far as I can see. So It’s certainly not a bad idea to buy such a device now and later carry it in my luggage home to Europe when ...
