I start with uninstalling Garmin Express using this tool - Windows's Program and Features still show it as installed afterwards, but nevermind - and continue with installing GE from the latest installation file. Hope it helps. It is still huge PITA to have to undergo this

2024年3月23日 · I am running a ASUS laptop with Windows 11.. I have tried opening Garmin Express as administrator and also have opened Edge as administrator. Yesterday the Express software updated to 7.20.3.0. The problem persists.
I have two laptops, one is an older Win 10 machine, and I have a new Win 11 machine. The Win 10 machine works fine with Garmin Express. Garmin Express will not launch on the new Win 11 machine. Everything else works fine on the new Win 11 machine
This will not prevent future versions of Garmin Express from being downloaded. However, any bugs or other issues specific to these OSes will not be resolved. 7.18.3 will be available to download at any time under the System Requirements.

Garmin Express (Windows) > Map Options > Install Map to Computer > Install Location > C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps. The Location C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps cannot be changed post-install. However, due to the large space requirement, it should be made possible. Thanks!
First of all I’ll make the assumption that by use of “Navicam” you mean the Garmin nuviCam. But what you might want to try, especially since you’ve been able to update by connecting to a Windows 7 machine, is to run the Microsoft Compatibility Troubleshooter on Garman Express on the Windows 10 machine.
