Saturn performance is generally better on stock, but CFW can fix some games. If Retroarch32 is needed, you'll need to switch over to Retro Arena (CFW).

2024年3月6日 · If you use batocera... something that does a little is: Set up max overclock and set performance mode. It does a little, don't expect to play Sega Rally. I did several trials myself and I'm afraid no matter what you do... it simply can't cope with the emulation specially with 3D games. Some 2D games can be barely playable.

yes and no, yes it will boot the game but run poorly and stuter very much. Saturn is unplayable on the RG35xxH. But if Saturn is your thing, consider the Anbernic RG Arc-S. It plays most (not all) Saturn games very well, and the unit is shaped like a Saturn/Sega controller. Nice big screen, GREAT D-pad, 6 buttons. But no joysticks, so forget N64.
The Saturn's YMF292-F sound chip had native FM capability which was better than the Mega Drive. The Saturn didn't have PSG which could be faked using the PCM channels. If Sega had used the sound chips capability, it would've sounded a lot better and the side effects of streamed audio (bad loops, no speed up when getting speed shoes) could've been avoided.
