Cons: Soft below f11, inaccurate autofocus, soft at ends of range, flare. Sharpness: 8 Aberrations: 7 Bokeh: 8 Handling: 7 Value: 7. I have the Promaster Spectrum 7 branded version, but identified by Lightroom or Flickr as "TAMRON 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 Ultra zoom XR" from camera metadata.
The 28-300 has a bit less PF than the 60-300, so that's one advantage. As long as lighting is adequate (or you have a camera with excellent high-ISO performance, like the K-x) and you stop it down a bit, it's capable of taking sharp, nicely saturated photos with good detail, even when viewed at full resolution.
2009年10月28日 · Yes, the Tamron 70-300mm is notably sharper than an older superzoom at the long end, but does have some CA in high contrast shots, unfortunately. The 55-300mm bests them in both respects if you can accord it. I haven't compared the two, but you can check out some sample pictures. 10-28-2009, 10:51 AM.

2011年5月28日 · Constant f/2.8 aperture, sharp across the frame at f/2.8, and ridiculously sharp when stopped down, with no noticeable vignetting or distortions. And since it will focus within a few inches of the front element, it's even good for some quasi-macro work. And best of all, they often go on eBay for around $300 used.
2012年7月12日 · none of them. I owned Tamron 28-300mm before and sold it after 3 months. Sharpness is low and 28mm at the wide end is not wide enough for shooting indoor. I would consider 18-250mm for good zoom range. However, I heard that Tamron 18-250mm would be a better choice than Sigma.
