Puli Township (Chinese: 埔里 鎮; pinyin: Pǔlǐ zhèn [1]; Wade–Giles: P'u 3-li 3 chen 4; Pe h-ōe-jī: Po -lí-tìn) is an urban township in Nantou County, Taiwan. [2] The township is located within the Puli Basin. It is the geographic center of Taiwan.
Nantou County (Chinese : 南投縣; pinyin : Nántóu Xiàn; Hokkien POJ: Lâm-tâu-koān; Hakka PFS: Nàm-thèu-yen) is the second largest county of Taiwan by area, located in the central part of the country.
