It's probably quieter than my previous 4 cylinder Astra's were. 3 cylinder engines have a very specific rattle, present also in VW Group’s 1.0 TSI and Ford’s 1L Ecoboost. The car’s noise insulation makes a big difference, the same 1.0 TSI is much quieter in Audi A3 than in Skoda Fabia.

  8. 2021年5月24日 · I have a March 2019 XC40 T3 manual with axial movement of the crankshaft. It is not as simple as replacing the thrust washers the crank shaft has to be replaced as well. The quotataion for this is around £4600. Despite the problem being due to a design mistake Volvo wont offer more than 40%. I am taking advice.

  10. 2020年10月13日 · Hello, I've owned an XC40 T3 with automatic gearbox for a few months now. Love the car, but there is a strange behaviour that my dealer has not been able to resolve yet (all they've tried to date is software updates/resets). I wonder if anyone here has seen or heard about this behaviour before, or has any idea what might be causing it.
