透析療法とは. 腎不全が進行し自覚症状が出現すると、透析療法が必要となります。 透析療法には血液透析と腹膜透析の2種類の方法があります。 それぞれの治療法には特徴があるので、ご自身のライフスタイルに合わせて治療法の選択ができます。 1．血液透析導入基準. 腎機能が正常の10-15%以下になると、透析や移植などの腎代替療法（腎臓の機能を代行する治療）が必要です。 日本では、「どのような状態になったら透析を始めたほうがいいか」を判定するための「透析導入の基準」（厚生労働省）があります。 症状・所見と腎機能・日常生活レベルとの組み合わせで導入時期を考えます。 腎機能が正常の15％以上あっても、尿毒症の症状や高カリウム血症、心不全などがあり、適切な治療によって改善しない場合は透析が必要と判断します。
