較於南韓許多明星常因整容技術受到關注，「素顏」的北韓女士在北韓引發更多討論，像是曾經出演北韓電影《賣花姑娘》（꽃파는처녀）（註一）並擔綱「花妮」（꽃분이）的演員洪英姬（홍영희，1953-），就是北韓民眾家喻戶曉的美女。而新奇的是洪女劇照還曾兩次被印上北韓紙幣，第一次是 1976 年版一元紙幣的背面圖案，第二次則是 1992 年版一元紙幣的正面圖案，成為「全球首位被印上貨幣」的女演員。
