In human anatomy, the penis (/ ˈpiːnɪs /; pl.: penises or penes; from the Latin pēnis, initially "tail" [ 1 ]) is an external male sex organ (intromittent organ) that serves as a passage for excretion of urine and ejaculation of semen.
