2019年3月10日 · Currently, there are only 3 different editions around (not counting the expansions): 1) the so called "standard" edition. 2) the Deluxe edition. 3) the Recharged edition (same entry/link as the standard one!) The standard ed. has practically been replaced by the Recharged. Simple as that.

Shem Phillips is a board game designer from New Zealand. He founded Garphill Games in 2009 and published a wide variety of games since. He is most well known for his medium to medium-heavy Euros such as his line of medieval trilogies (North Sea, West Kingdom, South Tigris & East Empire) and Ancient Anthology series.
The game is set in the Burgundy region of High Medieval France. Each player takes on the role of an aristocrat, originally controlling a small princedom. While playing they aim to build settlements and powerful castles, practice trade along the river, exploit silver mines, and use the knowledge of travelers.
