When you are playing a campaign, and fail at a scenario, my understanding is the following: 1) You keep all exp you earned before failing 2) You keep any gold you earned before failing 3) You start the scenario over again from scratch, and ALL the monsters, even the ones.
I’m a little confused about the Special Rules for this scenario. We came in through Scenario 2. The first room we placed had a locked door, which required us to kill all enemies to proceed. Once inside the main room, the narrative describes other monsters being in the room,
