概要. 当教室では生理学の医学教育を担当しています。 研究分野は神経生理学を中心とした神経科学です。 神経科学は、基礎から臨床・工学におよぶ幅広い学問分野と深く関係しながら発展を続けています。 近年は、蛍光タンパク質による細胞イメージングやiPS細胞、ウイルス遺伝学、光遺伝学などの新しい技術が開発され、今まで複雑過ぎて分からなかった神経回路の働き方や、ヒトの心を読み解く高次機能が明らかになりつつあります。 当教室では、脳機能の基盤である神経回路の働きに注目して研究をしています。 神経回路が、生後の発達期でどのように変化するのか？ 神経損傷や感覚遮断などの様々な外界の変化により、その回路がどのような影響を受けるのか？
