先端生命研について. 先端生命医科学研究所（先端生命研）では、1969年の創設以来築かれてきた医理工薬・産学融合体制のもと、医師と研究者が一体となって、明日の患者さんを治すべく、基礎研究から臨床応用さらには産業化に至るまでのあらゆる階層において、新しい医療技術の研究開発に取り組んでいます。 また同時に、未来の医療を担う分野を超えた融合型の新しい医師・研究者の育成にも尽力し、2001年からは、当研究所を主体として大学院に医学部卒者のみならず理工系修士卒者が入学できる先端生命医科学系専攻が設立されています。
