概要 東京女子医科大学呼吸器内科学は、平成2年に呼吸器外科とともに呼吸器センターを設立し、呼吸器内科学の診療と研究を行っています。 平成30年4月現在、多賀谷悦子教授・講座主任のもと、武山廉臨床教授、近藤光子准教授、准講師1名、助教3名の他、後期研修医と大学院生が在籍しています。 主要学会認定医・専門医は、日本内科学会認定医19名・専門医5名・指導医4名、日本呼吸器学会専門医9名・指導医4名、日本アレルギー学会認定専門医4名・指導医2名、日本呼吸器内視鏡学会専門医1名です。 今や肺癌は男性の死因の第一位となり、喘息や慢性閉塞性肺疾患も年々増加の一途をたどっています。 重症喘息に対しては分子標的薬である抗IgE抗体、抗IL-5抗体の投与や気管支サーモプラスティ療法など行っています。
