2015年7月31日 · 2015/7/31-8/2. Sydney, Australia. 7月31日から8月2日の間、オーストラリア、シドニーで開催された9th APVRS (Asia Pacific Vitreo-retina Society)に、発表者の小暮朗子先生と、入局1年目の伊藤優花先生と澤口翔太の三名で参加して参りました。 今年からはearly exposureということで入局1年目にもかかわらず海外学会に参加させて頂きました。 APVRSは元々大阪大学の故田野保雄先生が創設された会でもあり、海外特にアジア諸国から多くの参加者が集まっていました。

本研究成果は2021 年3. 月3 日に米国血液学会American Society of Hematology (ASH) 発行の雑誌である「Blood」 のオンライン版で公開されました。 Point サイトカインのThrombopoietin(Thpo)は成人期の造血幹細胞の維持に不可欠であるが、Thpo に依存せずに生存、維持される造血幹細胞の存在とその機構を解析した。 Thpo 欠損は造血幹細胞の静止期性の低下、細胞周期進行の障害、ミトコンドリア機能障. 害及びアポトーシス亢進を引き起こす。 Thpo 遺伝子欠損マウスにおけるThpo受容体作動薬を連続投与したところ、造血幹細胞. の数の増幅とともに静止性の誘導が見られた。
