担当医. 平 孝臣（臨床教授）、堀澤士朗 (助教) ふるえ(本態性振戦) について. 本態性振戦とは、明らかな原因がない (本態性)のにふるえ (振戦)がある状態を指します。 パーキンソン病などでもふるえは出現しますが、このような原因が明らかなもの (パーキンソン病)は、本態性振戦といいません。 本態性振戦は、高齢者に多くみられ，40歳以上では4％ 65歳以上では15％以上あるといわれています。 また10～30歳台にも見られ、長期的にふるえが悪化する可能性があります。 本態性振戦は、ふるえの症状の重症度により、治療が異なります。 軽度で、日常生活動作に及ぼす支障が軽微な場合には内服加療や経過観察が行われます。
